CottageHolidays.co.uk respects and will protect your privacy, at all times. We will never sell or disseminate your personal or financial details to third parties. We will not store or retain any financial details such as credit or debit card numbers.

Occasionally, we may wish to send you details of special offers, or any complementary added value services, which CottageHolidays.co.uk considers may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such communications, you may unsubscribe, at any time, by sending an email to unsubscribe@cottageholidays.co.uk and we will amend our records immediately.

Terms of Business for Renters

Use of the directory is subject to the following terms and conditions:
NB: CottageHolidays.co.uk may be referred to as ‘the company’ in the following text.

GENERAL
CottageHolidays.co.uk is entirely dependent upon the information supplied to it by advertisers and entered by them direct into its systems. It is therefore incumbent upon the renter to verify and confirm the basis of any proposed transaction.

CONTENT
The accuracy of the information on the CottageHolidays.co.uk web site is the sole responsibility of the advertiser of the property.

LIABILITY OF CONTENT
CottageHolidays.co.uk does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of this information nor will the company be held liable for any loss or cost incurred for any reason however incurred.

DESCRIPTIONS
CottageHolidays.co.uk gives no confirmation or guarantee of the description or the standard of the properties in the advertisements published in its web pages. CottageHolidays.co.uk and advertisers disclaim responsibility for any typographical errors in the details supplied in the web site.

EXCHANGE RATES
The web site may include information from other sources for example rates of exchange. This information may be approximate and CottageHolidays.co.uk cannot accept liability for inaccurate information or misunderstandings arising as a result.

Rates and conditions are subject to change without notice.

SPECIFIC COTTAGE OWNERS TERMS
Any booking made with a cottage owner will be subject to their terms and conditions.

PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATION
Payment for cottage rental including deposits if required must be made to the cottage owner.

CANCELLATION
Any cancellation or changes made by the renter will be subject to the cottage owner’s terms and conditions. The company will not be liable for losses under any circumstances.

OWNERSHIP
The company does not own any properties and use of accommodation is subject to the terms and conditions of each owner.

BOOKING NUMBERS
Your booking is for a certain number of people and this must not be exceeded without the prior written consent of the cottage owner.

PETS
Pets are only allowed with the express permission of the owner. If an arrangement is ignored the owner may cancel the booking and refuse to refund any monies paid.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Arrival and departure times must be confirmed with the owner. It is the responsibility of the renter to look after the property and to leave it in the same state of cleanliness and order as it was found on arrival. Any damages must be paid for.

INSURANCE
Insurances as appropriate should be taken out by the renter to cover cancellation, illness, loss, damage, etc.

COMPLAINTS
Dissatisfaction with a property should be communicated to CottageHolidays.co.uk and if substantiated may result in the removal of the property from the web site. No claim for recompense from the advertiser or renter will be entertained by CottageHolidays.co.uk

Terms of Business for Advertisers

Cottage Holidays.co.uk will include details of holiday accommodation for rent for a duration and fee as shown in the ‘Add your Cottage’ page of the Cottage Holiday’s web site.

All accommodation offered must be clean and presented to a high quality to meet the demands of our discerning renters. Any substantiated complaint may result in the removal of the entry from Cottage Holidays without refund or compensation of any kind.

Any booking, enquiry, contact or contract for holiday accommodation is to be between the advertiser and the renter. All information displayed in Cottage Holidays listings must be fair and accurate.

The advertiser may upload text and images and maintain their entry or Cottage Holidays will provide that service if requested in writing at no extra charge.

Advertising fees must be paid at the time of placing the advertisement by card or by cheque. New listings will be activated when full payment has been received.

Cottage Holidays.co.uk reserves the right to modify, change or delete any text or image in any way whatsoever at it’s discretion without refund or compensation of any kind to the advertiser.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
The advertiser can request that a listing be cancelled or removed at any time. If the advertiser requests a refund for any reason within 3 weeks of the date of activation of the listing, CottageHolidays.co.uk will refund only the full amount paid for the listing, by card or cheque.
No refund will be made after this 3 weeks period for any reason whatsoever.
PROPERTY FOR SALE
Property for sale is listed at the rate of £49.00 per property up to a maximum of 1,000 words and 6 photographs regardless of the number of words and images actually used.  Each property should have a separate listing and can be displayed for a maximum of 2 years. The company is not an Estate Agent and recommends that legal representation and advice is sought in all conveyancing matters. The company strongly recommends that all terms and conditions relating to the proposed sale or purchase are confirmed in writing prior to proceeding with any transaction.

DISPUTES
Any dispute between the company and it’s advertisers will be subject to English Law. Any complaint should be made in writing to the company at the address below. By making use of the company’s services, clients are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
