This family house is of half timbered Tudor design, and whilst it retains its character with inglenook fireplaces and low ceilings and beams it has all the modern facilities you would expect.
The house is situated in the small village of Chalton which has a farm selling fresh free range eggs and meat. There is a good dining pub a few steps from the house.
The larger village of Toddington is 2 miles away and has a historic church, a library, a number of village shops, and various takeaways. The 7 pubs in Toddington offer a wide range of dining options.
Leagrave, a suburb of Luton is 3 miles away with fast access to London (45 mins) and Bedford (20 mins). Milton Keynes 15 miles to the north, offers a wealth of shopping and entertainment. Oxford and Cambridge are an hour's drive away.
