The capital city is Belfast which has an extensive and comprehensive range of leisure facilities including shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. Counties Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Londonderry and Tyrone are waiting to welcome you. They each have something different to entice you their way, which makes Northern Ireland such an ideal area to tour. Find a cottage to let in our listings as a base.
Antrim, for example, has the amazing Giants Causeway and Armagh is known for it's lovely countryside and historic forts.
County Down is where you will find the Mountains of Mourne 'rolling down to the sea' - County Fermangh has magnificent lakes, islands and scenery, renowned for fishing and watersports.
County Londonderry has spectacular views with forts, gorges and rivers as the jewels in it's crown. County Tyrone seems to have it all with 'the great outdoors', pleasant holiday resorts and historical locations, too.
There around 80 golf courses in Northern Ireland and they can be found in many super settings including coastal stretches of Counties Down, Londonderry and Antrim. There are even a good number of links within a 5 mile radius of Belfast centre.
The currency in Ireland is the Euro, except here in Northern Ireland where we use the GB Pound (£) in common with the rest of the United Kingdom.
